The UHC Super 9 has been around for a very long time and has been the leading budget line sniper rifle for as long as anyone can remember. For less than $100 it offers impressive performance and accuracy with a unique shell ejecting feature that no other sniper rifle has.

Construction: Due to the size of the rifle it is shipped from the factory disassembled into three main components (stock, barrel and receiver). Its stock and receiver are made out of ABS plastic while its long 26 inch barrel and bolt are made out of metal. The rubber butt pad is very comfortable and is better than some found on real rifles. While a scope can be mounted using the special Super 9 Scope Rings the rifle is equipped with an olympic style peep sight which is fully adjustable for both windage and elevation.

There are two different feeding systems you can use with the Super 9. One is a 25 round stick magazine which clips to the outside of the guns receiver. The other is a rotary magazine which holds 5 bullet shaped shells. Each shell holds 1 BB. As you work the bolt action the shells are chambered and once fired are ejected out the side of the gun when you rack the action back for the next shot. This is a lot of fun to watch and is extremely realistic as the shells flip through the air. Please note that the Super 9 comes with BOTH the side mounted stick magazine and the rotary magazine with 5 shells.

Performance: The Super 9 has seen several changes over the years. In the late 90s the PRO Version 2 was introduced with a hop up system which greatly increased the range of this sniper rifle. Now UHC has updated it yet again by installing a high performance spring and better sealing piston head. This increased the muzzle velocity of the rifle an additional 105 fps while extending the guns range so it can now effectively hit a torso sized target at 50 yards.
